Pulling from way back, I gotta be honest I’ve been listening to this beat tape since it first came out in 2018.
So if I haven’t put you onto this one until now, my bad, but consider this your early Christmas present.
A little history first, Jonwayne was riding an incredible streak with the release of Rap Album Two in 2017, and a few tight music videos.
It seemed like he was ready to start shouldering the fame of it all, but he hasn’t released another full length album since Rap Album Two.
That is, except for Yuletide Bangerz a 17 track beat tape that gives the Christmas classics some of the rhythm and breaks they’re desperately missing.
A best-kept secret that’s been slowly getting out over the years, it’s only available on Bandcamp, but it’s worth the account creation if you don’t have one already.

In 2021 Jonwayne seems to have shifted his focus to mixing entirely, and maybe he’s more comfortable that way.
He wasn’t shy in his music or persona about being unamazed by fame, and despite not releasing a full-length stand alone project in 3 years he still averages over 200,000 listeners a month on Spotify.
Seems like the guy has it figured out, I just hope there’s more music coming out for the rest of our sakes.
